How does it work?

The upgrade is implemented during scheduled service or major overhaul and integrates hardware and system enhancements based on the latest Type 6 F-technology, including combustion, blow-by, inlet, monitoring, and control system improvements. It includes enhanced power unit components with new piston, ring, liner, and connecting rod design, blow-by system update, differential pressure monitoring, and – depending on scope – camshaft exchange, turbocharger and gas inlet modifications, air intake and filtration upgrades, control system, and OEM documentation updates.
